Ouray County Mud Fest – April 26-27, 2013
The second annual Ouray County Mud Fest, April 26 – 28th, celebrates the mud season by combining the mud with our passion for 4x4 adventures. Come watch the competitions and exhibitions or bring out your own 4x4 vehicle and sign up for the obstacle course, mud runs, or truck pull. There will be plenty of clean and dirty fun for the kids and adults, including a Mud Fest 5K, mud volleyball, tug-of-war, pedal-cars, and much more.

Mountain Air Music Series – Month of June
A FREE outdoor concert series held in Fellin Park in beautiful Ouray, Colorado. Each Thursday in the month of June, 6 - 9 pm, the series will feature incredible live music along with great food, non-alcoholic beverages, and beer, wine and spirits for purchase. Local non-profit organizations will benefit from beverage and food sales during the concerts. Each concert will be a multi-faceted family-friendly affair, with great kids' entertainment to go along with the music.

Heritage Weekend - Grillin’ and Chillin’ & Highgraders Mining Contest, Ouray – August 24, 2013
Ouray Heritage Weekend with Chillin and Grillin, kicks off on Saturday, August 24. The weekend features county-wide events that celebrate Ouray’s rich mining, ranching and cultural heritage. The festivities begin at 2:00 PM with live music, regional craft brewers, a BBQ competition and a wide selection of BBQ and festival food served by local vendors and non-profits. The price is $25 for the beer tasting, which comes with a commemorative tasting glass and runs for the duration of the event. The festival and live performances are free.
Be sure to spend the weekend mornings and early afternoons at the Highgraders Mining Competitions in Miner’s Park (next to Fellin Park) to witness some “friendly” competition in traditional mining skills like single-jacking, team drilling and mucking. Imogene Pass Run, Ouray to Telluride - September 7, 2013
The Imogene Pass Run course is 17 miles, 2.5 blocks long (17.1 miles). The Run has increased greatly in size and importance from its humble origins in 1974. Where once it was an adventure run for a few pioneers, today the race is immensely popular and the number of registered participants is by necessity restricted, due to safety and logistics reasons. From the original field of six, it has grown to encompass more than 1500 participants!
Blues and Brews Festival , Telluride - September 13-15, 2013
One of the most scenic music festivals in the country, the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival is a three day celebration of music and microbrews, held in Telluride Town Park , an outdoor music venue with breathtaking mountain peaks for a backdrop. By day, experience live blues, rock, funk, gospel, and soul, the best microbrews from over 50 microbreweries during Saturday's Grand Tasting, a wide variety of food and craft vendors, children's activities, and more - all on the festival grounds. Ouray Ice Festival - Janary 5-8, 2014
The Ouray Ice Festival, held annually since 1996, is the largest ice climbing event in North America, bringing together ice climbers from across the globe. Aside from inspiring over 30,000 outdoor enthusiasts the Ice Festival is also the main fundraiser for Park maintenance and operations.
